Last weekend, Kenny and I went to Kilronan Castle to attend the wedding of his only sister Sharon. For the first time in a long while we were at a wedding as guests, so I knew I wanted to have a bit of fun with my outfit!
I don’t often post outfit photos of my own, but I really wanted to feature this one! This occasion was such a great excuse to finally get a custom headpiece made by Magaela, whose work I’ve been in love with since I first saw it! This girl is such a crafty, imaginative and sweet fairy, anything you want done, she’ll conjure it up for you! From floral wreaths, button holes, rings, brooches, necklaces to bouquets, you name it. Just pick your colours and tell her what you like. All her work is so delicate and authentic looking and the best thing of all, you get to keep the flowers after the event! And it doesn’t have to be for a wedding either! I think it’s such a nice alternative to a hat! I’ll definitely be wearing my headpiece again – a festival outfit comes to mind already! I don’t think I’ve ever been so attached to an accessory item before!
I don’t think anyone who knows me will be surprised by the colour palette I went with! Micheala was so amazing and she had the wreath made within a week and delivered within the following week and even change the flowers to a different shade of mint during the process. Make sure you check out her facebook page here.
I had my hair done by Laila Valentino Hairdressing in Carrick and Shannon. When I came across their facebook page and saw the amazing upstyles they’d done previously, I was immediately sold! They did such a unique and intuitive hairstyle for me on the day!
I did my own make up on the day, testing out my new Urban Decay Naked 3 Pallette!
I must say it was an absolutely flawless day, I am not sure I’ll be posting any of the wedding photos, as I wasn’t the official photographer, but the bride and groom looked absolutely stunning and so so happy!
